Brewed with only Columbus hops this IPA is as dark as they come. Some say it’s darker that a coal miner’s ass. We wouldn’t because that would be undignified. But apropos of coal mines this beer is named in honor of the controversial Pennsylvania miner, Jack Kehoe. The addition of Columbus throughout the brew gives this Black IPA a nice piney aroma with spicy citrus notes that mingle with roast and chocolate from the dark malts to make a bold yet balanced beer.
